The conference takes place in October, the height of autumn in Tokyo, when the city hosts numerous major sporting events. The Kirin Cup Soccer 2026 will be held on October 5th. Since October 12th is Health and Sports Day (a public holiday), various sporting events of all sizes will be held at stadiums across Tokyo starting around October 9th.
